It was last Thursday that Toyota unveiled its 2020 Toyota Corolla Sedan, making yet another step into Sedan market. However, another announcement made by the company during the same event seems quite evident in the current scenario. Toyota announced that it would be launching the brand-new 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The show would be happening later this month and it will be another awesome opportunity for the company to get ahold of the diversifying motorcar market in the United States. It also means something for the Toyota Corolla sub-brand.

Toyota Corolla has been one of the commonest vehicles on the United States roads for the past decades and the company has managed to introduce the user base, as it comes with newer features every time. However, the company has not launched a Hybrid version of the vehicle in the US yet. So, when the Hybrid of Toyota Corolla makes its debut at the LA Auto Show, it would be a historical moment for Japanese multinational car giant. During the Thursday announcement, however, Toyota refrained from specific details about the vehicle although some things can be guessed.

There have been some educated guessed about the to-be-launched Toyota Corolla Hybrid, given the popular name-brand’s growth so far. It is expected that the new vehicle would also be based on Toyota New Global Architecture. On the road, the vehicle would be able to offer some of the best drivetrain performances, being similar to many other hybrid vehicles that Toyota has launched so far. The only thing sure about the hybrid vehicle is the teaser photo that Toyota had showcased during the event. Some sources also note that LA Auto Show would witness the launch of a brand-new Toyota Prius, which is expected to come with an all-wheel drive option.
