The in-flight Wifi has become the necessity instead of Luxury, as the connectivity while being airborne helps the people to stay connected to the world. With the inflight Wifi, many of the airlines are providing the customers with free or paid wifi connectivity for entertainment or work. Now, American Airlines have added the Satellite Wifi option to its mainline fleet for all of the customers. The service which was available in only several flights, and for the passengers of Business and First class, is now available to all. The entire fleet of American Airlines consists of 700 narrow body aeroplanes will get inflight Wifi option.

American Airlines have secured the services of Gogo 2Ku and ViaSat Ka to provide the inflight satellite-based internet access to the passengers. The services of these two providers will ensure the high-speed and stable connectivity throughout the journey from an American Airlines aeroplane. The companies are using the American deployed Broadband satellites to provide the uninterrupted connectivity to the passengers. Even though the service is available to all of the passengers, they have to pay to access the internet to browse third-party websites.

Recently, the airlines partnered with Apple to provide free access to Apple Music service via in-flight Wifi. The passengers can make use of the service for free by connecting to the in-flight Wifi. Also, the company is planning to introduce the Power outlet for every seat in the economy and business class aeroplanes. American Airlines have been missing the stable wifi connectivity throughout the flight as the connection frequently disconnected. From now on, the connection quality is improved, and as the Wifi is satellite-based, the passengers won’t face any disconnections due to the lousy weather or remote location.
