Sometimes in business, a company will get some criticism from its critic for taking some odd decisions, and Apple currently is going through the exact situation. The tech giant company recently launched Apple Card which is going to offer to all those people who wants to go traditional or old way for making payments. In Apple’s events, executives of the company revealed that they are launching a new credit card which will support the existing Apple payment platform. By using a digital or physical credit card, you will be able to get a flat 3% discount on all of Apple’s products.

Now giving a discount by selling a new product is the new way Apple is trying to build its brand name again. We all know that Apple’s products are used to show goodwill and now bringing this Apple Card it’s trying to convince people that they need to get this “premium” card to show their status. iPhone sales are already declining every quarter and even after putting some “innovating’ features in iPhones. Investors of the company are already skeptical about its performance because they think Apple is slightly going down. In yesterday’s event, Apple announced its much awaiting service Apple TV which is going to be another rival of movie streaming company Netflix.

If we look at this thing carefully, then it shows that Apple is trying to focus more on the service industry. Apple’s products are getting low demand also now executives are thinking to invest in more innovative things. However, some analysts believe that creating a credit card is not innovation because there’s nothing new apple did about it. Apple pay which is the company’s digital payment platform is also used by very few people which means company seriously need to solve this problem; otherwise, this strategy is not going to help Apple in long-term.
