The tech giant company Apple is going through a rough time since iPhone sales have decreased, which is negatively affecting the company’s performance. The ongoing trade war is getting at its peak, and Trump is trying to dominate China by putting a massive amount of taxes on Chinese goods and services. Now Apple thinks this move of Trump might be hurting them more than anything else. When it comes to manufacturing iPads, iPhones, and other gadgets, Apple is highly dependent upon China. All the major manufacturing hubs of Apple are in China. Since Trump has raised a considerable amount of tariffs, it’s getting hard for Apple to deal with them.

Recently to stop such a situation, Apple has urged trump administration to stop these tariffs. It’s indirectly increasing global competition for Apple because iPhones sales have decreased significantly in the Chinese market. After USA, China is the second largest consumer market for Apple’s products, but since both countries are going through a deadly trade war, they are finding it hard to sell their expensive high-end tech products. According to Apple Top Chinese firms don’t have that much influence in America like Huawei. In this case, Huawei got banned by trump administration for stealing trade designs, etc. but they didn’t have that much influence in America.

Now Apple, who already has a good market share in the Chinese market, is facing the reverse situation. China is building a list of unreliable entities in which they are going to name those companies who will meet strict regulations in China. Apple is on the verge of getting into that list, and it’s worried that Trump created this whole situation after deciding to put a hefty amount of taxes on Chinese goods is the primary reason. Trump administration is no mood of ending this massive amount of taxes; also, it seems like the situation for Apple might get more complicated.
