Tech giant Apple has introduced a new audio feature for its Fitness Plus users. The feature is called Time to Walk. According to Apple, it will offer an inspiring audio walking experience on Apple Watch. It will encourage people to walk more and keep them healthy. The company said that Time to Walk episodes will be downloaded automatically to Apple Watches. Subscribers can play the episodes over Bluetooth headphones. Each episode will is inspiring and will invite subscribers to involve themselves in a walk. People can also share their stories, music, and photos. Apple noted that even during the time of the coronavirus outbreak, walking remained one of the most active exercises among the people.

The iPhone maker said that it will bring original content weekly to Fitness Plus subscribers on Apple Watch. It said that content will be diverse and, fascinating. It promised that the content will be inspiring and entertaining. It will encourage subscribers to keep moving and stay fit. The new feature will display photos that are timed to moments on Apple Watch in the story. There will be no change in the usual exercise metrics like heart rate and others. Apple has designed Fitness Plus to assist to get the best workout. One needs an iPhone 6s with iOS 14.3 version and an Apple Watch Series 3 to use Fitness Plus services. Its services are also available with Apple TV HD and iPad Air 2.

Fitness Plus is also available as a standalone service. The company charges USD 9.99 every month and USD 79.99 every year. Apple has also added it to the Apple One Premier plan. Meanwhile, Apple has added more workouts to Apple Fitness Plus. The 26 new Fitness Plus workouts are available on-demand. It covers all video categories. It now offers 293 workouts. Apple claims that trainers will provide fresh workouts every week. It will let the subscribers explore new workouts and help them stay active. Additionally, all workout data will be stored in the Health app.
