Google Chrome in trouble with issues of data losing

Updates of Google Chrome are one of its most attractive features (different then windows 10) to its consistency, till a date. The updated Chrome version has already spontaneously turned out to users more than millions, across the world. Chrome is creating some serious issues for Android users. Selected by 9 to 5 Google and extended on by Android Police. In addition, Chrome 79 has found to erase data from Android apps that access Chrome via built-in Web View of Android. As 9 to 5 Google notes, users, and makers are enraged, and comments of Chromium’s virus tracker lists describing it as a significant issue and catastrophe.

The problem started from 79 version of chrome swapping the location. It stores web data and an unsuccessful migration process caused this data to be lost. The company has confirmed this issue and paused the further process, but admits. Chrome 79 has already reached around 50 percent of devices. One Chrome engineer exposed that they are currently discussing the right strategy for resolving the issue. He also added that the google is working on some plans: continue the process of migration and moving the missed files in the new locations and return the modification by moving migrated data to their original positions. Google is saying that they will let us know which of the two options have been chosen for solving the issue. The goggle engineer asked users to gather a list of affected packages, that advises some way to go in recognizing and setting all the impacted apps. But there is list of the apps affected.

Google’s engineering said, the company understands losing data puts in complicated positions; this problem marked as the highest priority. And also asked users to know that the engineer’s team is trying to work on a solution that reduces the data loss. So that it can be rolled out securely. After deploying the best mitigation, the company will figure out to improve in the forthcoming. If users are running Chrome 79, then they have to only sit and wait. There is no official list of affected apps and severe risks of data loss. There is no clear way to protect the data of apps affected.
