It was last week that Samsung showcased the long-rumored foldable phone to the developers. Needless to say, it became the internet sensation in no time. Samsung has designed a device that can be converted into a full-size device when needed. Now, a report from South Korea media has revealed more details about the device and the probable launch date. According to this report, Samsung is likely to launch the foldable phone in the coming March. The industry sources cited by the media report also reveal that the device is likely to be called Galaxy F.

Of course, the F in Galaxy F stands for Foldable. It does not come as a surprise, though. The report has shared some other non-surprising aspects as well. Samsung is expected to bring the Infinity Flex display into a pure flagship device and the report says that the flagship phone would have a price tag higher than $1700. It does not come as a surprise, considering that Samsung would be adding some of the high-end components to the device. As per what the Korean Media has reported, Galaxy F would be launched a month after the launch of Samsung Galaxy S10.

It also means that Samsung may be including 5G connectivity in the Galaxy F, although nothing is confirmed as of now. As far as the foldable phone goes, however, it is expected to revolutionize the size of tablet display sizes and how people use them. Samsung CEO had earlier announced that the company is planning to ship around 1 Million units of the foldable phone in 2019 alone. Considering this number, the launch dates seem really on-point as well. Once launched and succeeded, the foldable phone technology may also be used for other devices like wearable devices, tablets and notebooks.
